Good to see some of you at the Tewkesbury Medieval Fair this weekend.
Damien - tried to find you on Sunday - hope you had a good scrap.
Nice to have a cuppa with Kate and Simon & family on Saturday evening at Morrison's and see Nigel, Henry, Belinda and family at the battlefield on Sunday. Terry, Natasha and Jennie - sorry to miss you.
We had hoped to entertain any Regimental visitors at our house but Kate fell ill with a nasty gastric bug on Friday night - luckily Alex was visiting and by Saturday evening everyone was exhausted. This is the reason we couldn't invite anyone round - don't want the youngsters with nasty bugs, do we? Kate says 'thanks' for all the messages on face-book and the phone calls. She's recovering well, now.
Other people seen on Sunday afternoon were Flabber (Birch's) and 'Mrs Flabber' (Royalist Staff/Gerards), Joel Stenlake (Vaughans) who was fighting for the Lancastrians as an archer. Sean Murray (Northamptons) rumoured to be there, also. Plus saw others from Birchs and King's Guard.
Paul - I have bought a pike-head, boss and langets from 'Two-J's' for our Living History 'demo-pike'. Will bring these up to Skeenfirth next Saturday.

It was our local Raft Race event this weekend, a big community event, so regret we could not be with you.
