:)Though filled with dread at the onset of Newbury I found the event to be a wonderful example of how we work together and achieve the seemingly impossible . This weekend was a very special event, that saw babies and old un's like myself being part of a fantastic society of people.I left carrying away both a sense of commeradery and a deep respect for each members dedication.I should like to thank the many, many people that calmed me down (particularly Karen who had to put up with my frightening specter at 4.30 a.m. outside the loos picking elder flower) , helped make flower garlands, performed in cameos and bizare performance acts, read blurb or ran like hares acrossed a very unforgiving field screaming blue murder. Everyone this weekend has been fantastic but I must pass on my particular thanks to Norton who was the man of the moment, willingly and very competently assisting me.

Well what an experence, this was my first muster and it was a grand one. Thank you to everyone who made the weekend such a great one for the newbies, we were a little unsure about what we needed to do before we got there but you wonderful people welcomed us with open arms, gave us jobs and made sure my boys were sorted and thrown in to battle. Kenny's injurys are slight, just a bit of bruising to his left hand but thats ok, he is right handed so he can do without his left one and it only really pains him when he is asked to help us unpack and get sorted this end. Ken is still talking about being in the fury of battle, he loved every minute and got so involved he forgot to die until it suddenly dawned on him that he was the last one standing. Thank you for looking after him.
Thanks specialy to Sam, wow you know how to organise an event!

WELL DONE from me, too. See my main message on 'a massive thank you', to which I will add all testimonials from outside our regiment - Sam.
