Without doubt this is the best event I have ever been to. The house and surrounding grounds were amazingly beautiful, the living history was fascinating and the cameo's inspirational. There was even a very moving 17th century church service led by John , who spoke very eloquently, holding all of us with his words. The fine dining and court leets were watched by a room bursting with captivated people who followed every move with excited interest. On the last day I had no less than six little girls and two boys who wanted to be part of "my household".....Knoter's of the future me thinks. l Ray is a visionary who has gone beyond all expectations and definitions of excellence. I have absolute admiration for his outstanding ability and capacity to achieve with apparent ease something which etches itself into the memories of Knoter's and public. Genius. Pure genius

Shame - just couldn't find the time. Couple of years ago went to an event with lots of living history, front-of-house thread running throughout the day, and a little skirmish in Luton organised by Ray. it was excellent. Tamworth was scripted by him too, and I think we all enjoyed that one.

Thanks Jackie for those comments. I think we really were put through our paces, but the public particularly enjoyed it as did so many knotters. Hard work all round.
