If you don’t feel confident - print this page off so you still have these notes to refer to as we go through the process.

Look at the top right corner of this webpage and click on the word ‘Register’ BUT don’t do it until you have printed this page or read through the rest the post, because clicking it will take you to a different webpage.

Fill the form out. Choose a username carefully; it is how you will be known for the rest of your time on these boards, make sure you chose a password you can remember, then enter your email address. We need the email address so that we can send you confirmation emails.

Then you have to key the security code in. Copy the letters from the picture into the box. Proboard uses that to make sure that you are a real person, not a computer pretending to be human.

Then scroll right down to the bottom of the page, and click on the ‘I agree’ button. Doing that just says that you agree to the Proboard terms and conditions, followed by the ‘Create account’ button.

Don’t worry if it doesn’t all work first time. It was probably just a typing error. You just need to work through it all again slowly checking everything carefully. And don’t think its just you - I spend all day working on a computer and I got the security code wrong the first time!

Proboard will send you an activation code by email and you will have to log in and enter that activation code to be able to use the boards at all. I know its tedious - we find it tedious as well, but its just one of those things that has to be done.

Once we have done all that, you will be able to post on all the boards you can see.

There are a couple of extra boards reserved for Regimental Members, so that we can discuss things that include personal information such as names and addresses.

Hope to see you on the boards soon. :)
