Well ive been thinking ::)

Ive been on you tube recently and noticed that other Sk regiments are using the site to film for recruting new members :o

I was thinking why dont we use the same idea because it could bring a interest :) and i was hoping johnb would have some idea to this because he is the computerking of our regiment :D

LOL - Jeff and Terry (as well as a couple of the others) would have something to say about that :)

As for video, we tried to get some at Basing, but for various reasons, like screwy batteries, it didn't work too well. I will be bringing the digital video camera to Kelmarsh (along with a couple of still cameras) so we can have another try.

Ian and Richard (and perhaps Izzy) are going to work on the videos and setting up a youtube channel for us. However, I am sure they would appreciate any assistance they can get :)

There is no rush. get the exams out of the way - then we can worry about getting videos on YouTube. And once the exams are out the way, I am going to hassle you Young 'Uns to make something out of all that video we got from Kelham.

them we can get your video, my drill video and perhaps Jeff's video from the website published on YouTube.

Indeed. However, I suspect they take just as long to set up as a video. I haven't worked out how to do it yet - you could try making a powerpoint slide show and then saving it as a .wmf file. That might work :)

Do any of you have macromedia flash? It’s awesome for editing video clips and you can do pretty much anything with it! If you search for it on the internet you’ll see its capabilities, and I have a full licence for it as I am a web developer!
